Mayor DeGolia called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

1. ATHERTON HOUSING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND OUTREACH
MEETING
Mayor DeGolia opened the meeting and shared plan for the structure of the meeting. He noted the purpose of the meeting was to continue to engage residents in the housing conversation and gather further input and feedback from residents.
City Manager Rodericks introduced Housing Element Consultants Lisa Costa Sanders, Diana Elrod, and Barbara Kautz who shared a presentation with the audience discussing an overview of the Draft Housing Element programs, changes to housing element law, anticipated State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) comments, and a review of the proposed Accessory Development Unit (ADU) program for the Town.
During the staff presentation public comments were received from the audience.

The Council engaged in the discussion with staff reviewing the ADU survey, the proposed ADU program and inherent challenges with developing affordable housing within Town.
