CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Widmer called the meeting to order at 4:11 PM.
ROLL CALL –
City Council: Holland, DeGolia, Lewis, Vice Mayor Hawkins-Manuelian, Mayor Widmer – All Present
Finance Committee: Scolnick (Absent), Patil (Absent), Hill (Present), Sleeth (Absent), Walker (Present)
PUBLIC COMMENT – None
REPORT OUT OF CLOSED SESSION by Cit Attorney Ebrahimi
Council met in closed session prior to the Study Session to receive updates related to litigation, provided direction related to labor negotiations and provided direction on the City Manager’s contract which will appear on the next Regular Council meeting for approval.
STUDY SESSION
1. REVIEW OF THE FY 2023/24 TOWN BUDGET – ALL FUNDS CHANGES ONLY City Manager Rodericks introduced the item and reviewed a few key areas related to revenuers and expenditures. He provided background on VLF funding including its current status in the State budget. Rodericks also presented the Capital Improvement Program with minor reviews.
Council directed staff to remove the HAWK Beacon project at Stockbridge in favor of a Rapid Flashing Beacon only.
This item will appear on the next Regular City Council agenda for formal adoption.
