Planning Commission: Lerner, Tonelli (Excused Absence), Bryant, Polito, Lane – Present

• Tom Giorgi and Stephanie Sergeant provided written comments prior to the meeting
STUDY SESSION
1. CONTINUATION OF STUDY SESSION TO DISCUSS TOPIC AREAS FOR
MULTIFAMILY HOUSING OBJECTIVE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS Town Planner Bendix, Housing Consultants Tom Ford and Po Johnson led the Council and Commission through a presentation that reviewed potential development yields, a variety of objective design standards, and considerations for privacy.
Council and Commission discussed each area and drilled down on fence and wall heights, landscape screening possibilities, ceiling heights, and setbacks. The discussed also included what circumstances for developers that may lead to variance requests and parking reductions.
This will return to the Council in early 2024 for further action.
