1. PROVIDE FEEDBACK ON REACH CODE APPROACHES TO REDUCE
GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS FROM BUILDINGS
Report: GEORGE RODERICKS, CITY MANAGER
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Council consider various options in support of energy reach codes and provide feedback and direction to staff for the next steps.
Description: This item is an information presentation on a menu of policy options to encourage building electrification to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from buildings in town.
2. BRIEFING ON PROCESS TO UPDATE THE ATHERTON SAFETY ELEMENT Report: BRITTANY BENDIX, TOWN PLANNER
Recommendation: It is recommended that the City Council receive a presentation from staff regarding the process to update the Town’s Safety Element.
Description: This will be a Council discussion of the update to the Town’s Safety Element, whichisasectionincludedwithintheGeneralPlan.

CALENDAR
Report: ANTHONY SUBER, DEPUTY CITY MANAGER/ CITY CLERK
Recommendation: It is recommended that the Council receive and file the 2024 Atherton annual Eevent activity cCalendar.
Description: This is an informational item that may involve a Council discussion related to the annual events hosted by the Town.
