FISCAL IMPACT
The FY 2023-24 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget included $175,000 for the base project and an allocation for green infrastructure in the amount of $200,000 that would be used to support the green infrastructure and landscaping components of the project. Costs for project design and construction management and inspection services are approximately $127,000.

An additional allocation of $300,000 is needed to award the construction contract for bid schedules A and B and to provide a contingency in the amount of $45,000 to address change orders and unforeseen conditions. Funding for this additional amount will come from the FY 2023-24 Road Improvement Program budget within the CIP. Since that funding is currently allocated to other Road Improvement Projects, the funds will be replenished as part of a Capital Improvement Program Budget transfer in the FY 2024-25 Budget.
