SPECIAL MEETING
Mayor Lewis called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m.
ROLL CALL – Hawkins-Manuelian, Widmer, DeGolia, Vice Mayor Holland, Mayor Lewis – Present
PUBLIC COMMENT – NONE
SPECIAL MEETING ITEMS
1. ANNUAL CITY COUNCIL TEAM-BUILDING AND GOALS MEETING
City Manager Rodericks and Drew Corbett introduced the purpose for the Special Meeting and walked the Council through the Council Goals and Initiatives and the associated departmental workplans that roll up into each goal.
Council held a thorough discussion on each goal area and provided direction and feedback to revise each area aligning them with current priorities.
Council revised the goals as follows;
- Goal A - Preserve Small Town Character & Quality of Life - Goal B - Improve Public Safety & Emergency Preparedness - Goal C - Maintain Conservative Fiscal Policies and Financial Transparency - Goal D - Be Forward Thinking
- Goal E - Maintain and Improve Public Infrastructure
- Goal F - Build Community & Promote Civic Engagement
