Dear Residents,
On July 16, the City Council will be considering a resolution to implement a Resident-only Permit Parking Program for Maple Avenue (between Station Lane and El Camino Real) and Ashfield Road (between the Town Center and El Camino Real). The proposed program would restrict on-street parking on these streets to residents and their guests Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., excluding federal and state holidays.

The program is being considered at the request of residents on these streets and in response to increased library patronage and its impact on neighborhood parking availability, traffic circulation, and pedestrian safety. The Council will review the proposed program as part of its broader efforts to address these concerns in collaboration with the community.

Community participation is strongly encouraged. Residents are invited to attend the meeting to share their perspectives and help shape an effective and balanced solution.

If the Council adopts the permit parking program, the Police Department will follow up with residents regarding the permit application process and other implementation details.
