NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT Robert Ovadia, Engineer of Work for the Town of Atherton, County of San Mateo, California, on the 16th day of July, 2025 did file with the City Clerk of said Town a Certificate of Completion for the work described in the construction contract awarded to Castillo Plumbing, Inc. on the 19th day of April, 2023, said contract being executed on the 30th day of May, 2023.
That said work and improvements were accepted as completed on the 6th day of May 2025 and that acceptance for completion of said work was ordered by Motion of the City Council of said Town, adopted on the 16th day of July, 2025, and that the name of the surety on the Contractor’s bond for performance, labor and materials on said project is Western National Mutual Insurance Company, 4700 West 77th Street, Edina, MN 55435.
That said work and improvements consist of renovations to Atherton Rail Station, including rehabilitation the existing wood framed structure for use as a train museum and rail history interpretive center as well as integrating the building with the new Town Center including site improvements, wood repair/replacement, roof repair, weatherization of the structure, electrical improvements, interior and exterior improvements, and installation of fixtures and furnishings, with a 1-year guarantee per Town of Atherton Standard specifications and special provisions.
That I, Robert Ovadia, City Engineer of the Town of Atherton, am authorized by said Motion to execute and file this notice with the County Recorder of the County of San Mateo.
