Hello,
I'm Noah Eisner, I started asking about pickleball at HPP in 2021. It's been great to see the efforts of the P&R and Town Council to make it a reality and the great and growing demand for pickleball since the trial started. I am out of town currently and will try to attend on Zoom, but I wanted to share my thoughts on record.

To meet the demand of our residents and the many who love the game, I support expanding our pickleball capacity at HPP. Residents continually come up to me and talk about how much fun it is, how they are finally using the park, and how its helped them meet new people. I do believe that we need more courts at HPP and I support the recommendation to add lines for a total of 4 courts on Court 1. Long term, I believe that we need permanent courts and given the cost, I believe the smart solution for the town is to DEDICATE Court 1 to pickleball with 3 or 4 permanent courts.

I think redoing the handball courts is an expensive endeavor and only gets 2 courts and not the additional capacity to meet demand. If the tennis community needs more capacity, then I think we should resurface the barely unused clay court as part of a public private project (funding from donor).

As far as the handball courts, we leave as is or maybe long term make it some sort of practice area.

Thank you!
Noah
