Re: Building and Life Safety Services – Updated Fee Schedule Dear Robert,
Interwest is proud of our long-standing partnership with the Town of Atherton, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration for many years to come. We are pleased to propose a multi-year contract that will provide added stability and support for both the Town and Interwest.
Included below is the updated fee schedule for Building and Life Safety Services to be incorporated into the new contract. This proposal is based on our experience over the past several years, as well as the updated rates implemented by the Town in July 2025.
Fee Schedule – Option #1
• 60% of Building Fees collected by the Town (Valuation-Based Fees calculated from the Valuation Table) • Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs): $3,000 per unit
• Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs): $2,000 per unit • Green Identified –Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) Permits: $250 per application • Solar Panel Permits: $250 per application
