Vice Mayor DeGolia called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M.
ROLL CALL – Lane, Widmer, Lewis, Vice Mayor DeGolia, Mayor Holland – Present Transportation Committee: Chair Leugers, Owen, Michel, Seabolt – Present; Jones - Absent PUBLIC COMMENT – NONE
STUDY SESSION ITEMS
1. ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION PLAN (BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN MASTER
PLAN) UPDATE
Public Works Director Ovadia presented the current Active Transportation Plan for discussion and staff direction.
City Manager Rodericks provided context regarding which projects are already underway in the planning phase and do not need further Council input at this time.
Council discussed the various improvement options for bicycle and pedestrian accommodation on streets identified in the Active Transportation Plan, as well as anticipated response from the public to certain proposed changes.
Council and the Transportation Committee deferred discussion of proposed upgrades to identified intersections, as well as programs and policies to a future Joint Study Session, likely on July 1st, 2026.
