Subject: Parking and Traffic Study – Scope and Budget Amendment – Study C (Dinkelspiel Station Lane One-Way Operations)
Dear Robert,
TJKM is pleased to offer continued assistance with the Parking and Traffic Evaluations approved by the City Council on January 21, 2026. Per the 06/17/26 City Council direction and our follow up communication, here is a summary of current and planned efforts with necessary revisions to the approved scope and budget for Study C - Dinkelspiel Station Lane – One-Way Operations.
The currently approved scope includes tasks 1-6 and 7b for a total budget of $62,560 (including $5,500 for data collection). No in-person attendance and presentations at community meetings or City Council meetings are included. The revised scope adds one more scenario in addition to the two currently approved scenarios (total three scenarios). In addition, a total of four in-person meetings are added. A topographic survey for the entire section between the Town Center and Watkins Avenue, if necessary, will also be conducted. Once the Town selects an alternative for implementation, TJKM will develop complete Bid Packet that conforms to all Town of Atherton procurement requirements (optional task (d) described below).
A budget amendment is necessary as outlined below.
a) Evaluation of one additional scenario (for all tasks 1-6 and 7b) - $28,225 b) Four in-person meetings - $11,000
c) Topographic survey - $7,710
d) Prepare design, PS&E and complete bid packet conforming to the Town of Atherton procurement requirements, coordinate with utility providers, conduct three review meetings at 30%, 65%, 95%; complete 100% designs, and provide bid assistance through the bid closing date - $44,440
