Subject: Traffic Signal Design for Middlefield Road and Watkins Avenue Dear Robert,
We are pleased to submit a proposal for engineering design services for a new traffic signal at the intersection of Middlefield Road and Watkins Avenue. Our efforts will include the following tasks:
a) Complete a topographical survey of the intersection (conducted by a survey firm) b) Conduct site visits, review exiting conditions, utility constraints, etc. c) Coordinate with utility providers for power source
d) Prepare signal design, PS&E and complete bid packet conforming to the Town of Atherton procurement requirements; including civil, electrical, signage and striping, and respective detail sheets as needed
e) Conduct three review meetings at 30%, 65%, 95%; complete 100% designs f) Provide bid assistance through the bid closing date
We propose a fee of $58,450 (including $5,790 for survey). The fee does not include attendance at a Committee or City Council meeting.
I appreciate your approval of this task order. We will furnish all services within 120 days of the Notice to Proceed.
