Subject: Watkins Avenue Pedestrian Walkway Improvements Dear Robert,
We are pleased to submit a proposal for engineering design services for Watkins Avenue Pedestrian Walkway Improvements. The project involves engineering design for the replacement of the existing damaged AC Dike and replacement of the existing fencing to match the new fence recently installed by a separate project. These improvements are for the south side walking path of Watkins Avenue from Dinkelspiel Station Lane to Middlefield Road. Our efforts will include the following tasks:
a) Complete a topographical survey for the entire length (conducted by a survey firm) b) Conduct site visits, review exiting conditions, driveway access, utility constraints, ADA compliance, etc.
c) Prepare design, PS&E and complete bid packet conforming to the Town of Atherton procurement requirements
d) Conduct three review meetings at 30%, 65%, 95%; complete 100% designs e) Provide bid assistance through the bid closing date
We propose a fee of $70,200 (including $22,180 for survey). The fee includes attendance at two in-person Committee or City Council meetings.
I appreciate your approval of this task order. We will furnish all services within 120 days of the Notice to Proceed.
