CALL TO ORDER:
The City Council of the City of Atwater met in Special Session this date at 4:56 PM in the City Council Chambers located at the Atwater Civic Center, 750 Bellevue Road, Atwater, California; Mayor Nelson presiding.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge of Allegiance was postponed to the Regular Session.

BOARD OF TRUSTEE INTERVIEW:
Interviews for one (1) scheduled vacancy on the Merced County Mosquito Abatement District Board of Trustees City of Atwater, for the term of four (4) years, ending December 31, 2026.
The City Council interviewed one qualified candidate.
BOARD OF TRUSTEE NOMINATION AND APPOINTMENT:
Appointment of one (1) Board of Trustee to the scheduled vacancy on the Merced County Mosquito Abatement District Board of Trustees, for the term of four (4) years, ending December 31, 2026.
Mayor Nelson nominates Kim Kathleen Miller.
NOMINATION: Mayor Nelson moved to appoint candidate Kim Kathleen Miller to fill the scheduled vacancy on the Merced County Mosquito Abatement District Board of Trustees, for the term of four (4) years, ending on December 31, 2026. The vote was: Ayes: Cale, Raymond, Button, Nelson; Noes: None; Absent: Ambriz. The nomination passed.
ADJOURNMENT:
Mayor Nelson adjourned the Special Meeting at 5:02 PM.
