MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER-5:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL-Present via Teleconference and In-Person: Mayor Anni Marshall, Councilmembers Lisa Lavelle, Michael Ponce, Mary Schickling and Yesenia De La Rosa. Also present: City Manager David Maistros, City Attorney Scott Campbell and Deputy City Clerk Gabrielle Morones.
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-None.
CONSENT CALENDAR-There were four Items on the Consent Calendar. Motion to approve Items #1-#4 made Lisa Lavelle by, seconded by Michael Ponce. (All Ayes) Minutes
Approved minutes from the January 16, 2024 regular City Council Meeting.
2. Warrants
Approved warrants in the amount of $1,361,217.48, one payroll totaling $248,108.65, three electronic fund transfers totaling $139,351.08 for a total expenditure of $1,748,677.21 for January 1, 2024 through January 19, 2024.
Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Second Quarter Treasurer's Report Adopted Resolution No. SA 24-06 of the City Council of the City of Avalon/Successor Agency to the Avalon Community Improvement Agency Adopting the Treasurer's Investment Report for Fiscal Year 2023/2024 Second Quarter.
4. RFP for Joe Machado Field Concession Stand
Authorized the City Manager or his designee to circulate a request for proposals for qualified vendors to operate a snack bar concession at Joe Machado Field.
GENERAL BUSINESS
5. FY24 Mid-Year Financial Results and Proposed Budget Amendments
1. Received the report of the Mid-Year Financial Results for FY23-24; and 2. Authorized the proposed budget amendments as outlined in Exhibit A to this report.
Motion to approve made by Michael Ponce, seconded by Lisa Lavelle. (All Ayes) Mayor Marshall adjourned the meeting at 6:17 p.m.
