CALL TO ORDER-5:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL - Present via Teleconference and In-Person: Mayor Anni Marshall, Councilmembers Lisa Lavelle, Michael Ponce, and Mary Schickling. Also present: City Manager David Maistros, City Attorney Scott Campbell and Management Analyst Devin Hart.
Absent: Councilmember Yesenia De La Rosa
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - None.
PRESENTATION - Finance Director Matthew Baker provided an overview of the FY 2024-25 Budget.
CONSENT CALENDAR-There were two items on the Consent Calendar. Motion to approve items #1-#2 made by Lisa Lavelle, seconded by Michael Ponce. (4 Ayes-Marshall, Lavelle, Ponce, and Schickling; 1 Absent-De La Rosa)
1. Minutes
Approved minutes from the April 9, 2024 regular City Council Meeting.
Classification and Compensation Study Request for Proposal Authorized City staff to publish a request for proposals (RFP) for consultant services to conduct a Classification and Compensation Study.
GENERAL BUSINESS
Appointing a Mayor Pro-Tem
Appointed Lisa Lavelle to serve as the Mayor Pro Tem.
Motion to approve made by Mary Schickling, seconded by Michael Ponce. (4 Ayes-Marshall, Lavelle, Ponce, and Schickling; 1 Absent-De La Rosa)
4. Audit Committee
Appointed Michael Ponce and Mary Schickling to serve on the audit committee.
Motion to approve made by Lisa Lavelle, seconded by Anni Marshall. (4 Ayes-Marshall, Lavelle, Ponce, and Schickling; 1 Absent-De La Rosa) Award Contract for Joe Machado Field (JMF) Concession Stand Authorized the City Manager to negotiate and execute a lease agreement with Santiago Bryan-Zwick dba Avalon Smokehouse, Inc. for the concession at Joe Machado Field.

6. Wrigley Road Traffic Safety Improvements
Approved the plan as presented for modifications and striping along Wrigley Road in the space designated including five curves between the Pet Cemetery and Buena Vista Point.
Motion to approve made by Lisa Lavelle, seconded by Mary Schickling. (4 Ayes-Marshall, Lavelle, Ponce, and Schickling; 1 Absent-De La Rosa) Mayor Marshall adjourned the meeting at 6:24 p.m.
