CALL TO ORDER - 5:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL - Present: Mayor Anni Marshall, Councilmembers Lisa Lavelle, Michael Ponce and Mary Schickling. Also present: City Manager David Maistros, City Attorney Scott Campbell and Senior Management Analyst. Absent: Councilmembers De La Rosa.
WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - City Staff received one (1) written communication regarding Item #1 Direction on City Action in Response to May 29, 2026 Demand for Cure and Correct Letter and Unconditional Commitment Letter and 22 written communications regarding Item #2 Rescission of the May 22, 2026 Letter to the Federal Communications Commission and Direction Filing Responses to the Federal Communications Commission in Response to Filing
GENERAL BUSINESS
1. Direction on City Action in Response to May 29, 2026 Demand for Cure and Correct Letter and Unconditional Commitment Letter
Authorized the City Attorney to Prepare an Unconditional Commitment Letter in response to the May 29, 2026 Demand for Cure and Correct Letter.
Motion to approve made by Michael Ponce, seconded by Lisa Lavelle. (4 Ayes - Marshall, Lavelle, Ponce and Schickling, 1 Absent - De La Rosa)
2. Rescission of the May 22, 2026 Letter to the Federal Communications Commission and Direction Filing Responses to the Federal Communications Commission in Response to Filing of AVX
Rescinded the May 22, 2026 letter to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and authorized the City Attorney to file responses to AVX's filings with the FCC.
Motion to approve made by Michael Ponce, seconded by Lisa Lavelle. (4 Ayes - Marshall, Lavelle, Ponce and Schickling, 1 Absent - De La Rosa) Mayor Marshall adjourned the meeting at 5:17 p.m.
