TO THE MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AZUSA:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that a Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Azusa is hereby called to be held Monday, January 24, 2022
at 06:30 p.m. at 729 N. Azusa Ave., Azusa, California.
Said Special Meeting shall be for discussing, hearing and taking action on the items listed below:

PUBLIC COMMENT
Please note that public comments are welcomed by recognition of the Mayor, and are limited to items listed on this special meeting agenda.
A Person/Group shall be allowed to speak without interruption for up to three (3) minutes maximum time, only on items appearing on this agenda, and only if a vote is taken, in accordance with the Special Meeting Provisions of the Brown Act. Public Comment will be limited to thirty (30) minutes time C.
SCHEDULED ITEMS
1. FOLLOW UP DISCUSSION AND DIRECTION ON ALLOCATION OF EXCESS RESERVES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2021-22.
C-1 Staff Report - FY 2021-22 Excess Reserves Priorities January 24 CC Special Meeting 1)
Allocate $1.5 million of the projected $6.7 million excess reserves as the first payment to establish a trust account to address liabilities related to Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) for retiree medical obligations; and 2)
Provide Staff direction on how to utilize the remaining $5.2 million of the projected $6.7 million excess reserves by establishing priorities for capital infrastructure investments and/or enhancing community programs, services, and events.
