3. ADOPT JUNE 8, 2023, REGULAR AGENDA SUMMARY REPORT
Motion by Councilmember Gonzales to adopt the June 8, 2023, Regular Agenda Summary Report. Motion unanimously approved.
4. NEW BUSINESS
A. Staff update on City Animal Control issues and options for possible Municipal code amendments concerning the same for Committee discussion and direction.
(Staff recommends receive and file presentation and committee direction.)
City Manager Clegg made staff comments.
Deputy City Attorney Zambrano and Assistant to the City Manager Rubio, Animal Control Supervisor Davis, Animal Control Senior Officer Alvarez, Animal Care Center Shelter Director Buck, made staff comments and provided a PowerPoint presentation.
City Attorney Gennaro made additional comments.
Motion by Councilmember Gonzales to receive and file the presentation and propose the four ordinance options presented to full Council for adoption. Motion unanimously approved.
