SUBJECT: Amendment No. 1 to Agreement 2023-267 with ImageTrend, LLC
(increase in compensation of $14,650); revised not to exceed $416,003 to allow an additional module to streamline the fire permitting process.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this agreement.
BACKGROUND:
On November 29, 2023, the city entered into Agreement 2023 -267 with ImageTrend, LLC to acquire ImageTrend software and training resources. This software enables the integration of existing Emergency Medical Services (EMS) systems, streamlining the preparation of reports required by the state of California for the Bakersfield Fire Department.
The city is putting Agreement No. 2023-267 before the Council to request an amendment to Agreement No. 2023-267 to purchase ImageTrend’s Permits module to create, track and complete records for fire permits. The addition would streamline the permitting and track ing process for the Bakerfield Fire Department. Therefore, the City and ImageTrend, LLC desire to amend the current agreement to increase compensation by $14,650; Revised not to exceed $416,003.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds for this purchase are budgeted through the CUPA Operating budget.
