RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE SALE OF SURPLUS FIRE ENGINES
TO THE CITY OF QUERETARO, MEXICO , A GOVERNMENTAL
ENTITY FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses two (2) surplus end-of-life fire engines which are no longer serviceable for the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, the City of Queretaro, Mexico, a governmental entity, desires to receive the surplus end-of-life fire engines at a cost of one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus equipment to a governmental entity in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section 3.20.120(F).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell two (2) surplus end-of-life fire engines to the City of Queretaro, Mexico, for one dollar ($1.00).
