BACKGROUND:
On March 22, 2023, the City Council approved the annual contract for the supply of ferric chloride with California Water Technologies, LLC, in the amount of $189,795.81; renewable annually thereafter for four consecutive one-year periods.
Per the terms of the contract, one amendment increasing the contract and/or extending the contract has been approved as follows:
• Amendment 1 approved March 13, 2024; extend term one year to March 22, 2025.

Currently, there is $189,795.81 remaining on the contract. If approved, Amendment No. 2 will extend the term by one year to allow the City to continue to meet the demand for the supply of ferric chloride to the term date of March 22, 2026.
