RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends receiving and filing report
BACKGROUND:
In accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code Section 13.12.035 Complete Streets requires a report to be submitted to the Council detailing efforts made to comply with the complete streets ordinance during the prior fiscal year. In accordance with that requirement, staff submits the attached list of projects and efforts made during the July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024 fiscal year to help meet the Council’s goals for complete streets and to comply with the ordinance.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Providing and adopting the report on the annual Complete Streets Report has no impact on the City General Fund. Each individual project has created its budget which was approved during the previous year’s budget process.
