SUBJECT: Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 2023-014 with All American Glass and Window Inc. (extend the term to January 11, 2026) to provide commercial glass replacement and installation for various locations throughout the City of Bakersfield.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the amendment.
BACKGROUND:
On January 11, 2023, the City of Bakersfield (City) entered into an agreement with All American Glass and Window Inc. to provide on -call co mmercial glass replacement and installation for various locations throughout the City. All American Glass and Window Inc. was selected through a Qualification Based Score (QBS) after responding to the City’s Request for Qualifications (RFQ). On-call contractors assist staff with the need for commercial glass replacement and installation for various City facilities.
On January 26, 2024, Council approved Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 2023-014 extending the term to January 11, 2025.
All American Glass and Window Inc. has provided satisfactory on-call commercial glass replacement and installation services as requested by the City. The City recommends approval of Amendment No. 2 to Agreement No. 2023-014 extending the term of the agreement for an additional year with no change to the existing total compensation ($325,000).
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for this agreement will be paid for through individual budgets with varying funding sources, which may include the General Fund.
