SUBJECT: Agreement with CivicPlus (not to exceed $218,290.95) for website services
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this agreement.
BACKGROUND:
In 2020, the City of Bakersfield entered into Agreement 2020 -084 with CivicPlus to develop, host, and provide support for the City’s public -facing website. CivicPlus worked with the City to design a robust, easy-to-use website to serve our residents and pr ovide an information resource to site visitors. Now in the final year of this agreement, CivicPlus is working with the City to update the website's visual look so it continues to be a source of information and services.
The City wishes to continue this relationship and requests approval of a new 3 -year agreement with CivicPlus for the lump sum amount of $218,290.95, paid over 3 years as follows:
$67,806.85 for 2025-2026
$74,114.94 for 2026-2027
$76,369.16 for 2027-2028
The agreement includes design, hosting and security, and various other digital services and support.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funding for the renewal is covered by the Equipment Fund
