A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DEDICATING A UTILITY EASEMENT TO PACIFIC
GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY (PG&E) WITHIN CITY -
OWNED PROPERTY TO PROVIDE SERVICE TO THE CBK -83
TANK AND BOOSTER STATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield (“City”) is the owner of property located at the western terminus of the cul -de-sac on Brookline Lane in the City of Bakersfield, identified as Assessor’s Parcel Number 534-360-01; and
WHEREAS, said property is designated as a sump (Basin No. 375) per the recorded Tract Map 7317, Phase 7, Lot A, dated October 9, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City intends to grant a utility easement across a portion of said property to allow Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) access for the purpose of installing and maintaining electrical infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the easement will provide PG&E access via an existing maintenance road to install three -phase electrical conduit from a nearby transmission line located south of the sump; and
WHEREAS, the proposed utility easement (“Easement”) is described in detail in Exhibit “A,” attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The foregoing recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference.
2. The City of Bakersfield hereby dedicates to Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) a utility easement over the City-owned property described in Exhibit “A,” attached hereto, for the purpose of installing, accessing, and maintaining utility infrastructure to serve the CBK-83 Tank and Booster Station.
