SUBJECT: Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 2025-052
(extend term to July 31, 2025) to provide targeted outreach services to homeless individuals through the Community Connectors Pilot Project
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the amendment.
BACKGROUND:
The City is committed to addressing and reducing homelessness within the community through focused outreach efforts to engage individuals on the streets and assist them with accessing critical resources.
On November 5, 2024, the City entered into Agreeme nt No. ED24-054 with The Open Door Network to provide targeted outreach services to homeless individuals and families through the Community Connectors pilot program.
On February 3, 2025, Agreement No. ED24 -054 was amended to extend the term to March 1, 2 025, to allow for additional time to perform the Scope of Work.
On March 26, 2025, Agreement No. ED24 -054 was amended to Agreement No. 2025 -052 to increase compensation by $95,000 for a total to not exceed $195,000 and extend the term of the Agreement to June 30, 2025.
The City now desires to extend the term of the agreement to July 31, 2025 , to allow additional time to perform the Scope of Work.
