Dear Holly:
BKF Engineers is submitting this amendment for additional services for the Sports Complex at Mesa Marin Project.
Additional work was requested by the Owner outside the items described in our original proposal.
PROJECT UNDERSTANDING
All conditions of performance involved in this Add Service Request shall be in accordance with the provisions of the original contract proposal dated June 26, 2019, for work as described in the scope of work below.
This Add Service Request (ASR) is related to the extended project construction schedule
BASIS OF DESIGN
Our records show that the project was awarded in November 2023, with construction underway and civil items were expected to be completed by July 2024. Based on the current project schedule BKF is to extend Construction Support until December 31, 2025, this includes continued services including: responses to request for information and submittal reviews.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
TASK 1 – EXTENDED CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT
BKF to continue to provide -
1) Requests for Information – BKF will respond in writing to written requests for information associated with civil design items.
2) Submittal Review – BKF will review and return submittals for those items included in the scope of work.
Fee is calculated with an average of 2 hours per week until the projected completion date.

COMPENSATION
1) BASE SCOPE OF WORK:
BKF proposes to provide the services on a lump sum basis. We will invoice for our services on a percent complete basis per task summarized as follows:
