RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends receiving and filing the report
BACKGROUND:
In accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code Chapter 3.20 the Finance Director must report other financial reports required to indicate the financial condition of the city periodically to the City Council. In conjunction with changes to Bakersfield Munici pal Code Section 3.20, an informational report was requested to provide documentation of contracts between $40,000 and $100,000 to increase transparency and measure the effectiveness of the changes in contract authority threshold amounts.
