Construction Manager to Support city of Bakersfield Projects
• Design site visit-attend site visit with MSI and city of Bakersfield team document scope of work • Manage and supervise project-from design visit to Closeout and redline as-build completion • Preliminary drawings-review zoning drawings for accuracy from site visit notes • Shelter-verify size and entry port opening and azimuth direction verification • Equipment-verify shelter, generator/ATS, air conditioning, tower per construction drawings • Equipment-track equipment ordered by MSI and provide input of due date risk items • Zoning drawings-review for accuracy of details and field note existing conditions • Grounding R56 standard-review drawings to ensure grounding installations meet Motorola RS56 • Survey drawing-review and compare zoning drawings, verify required site easements • Generator size and ATS/ILC location-verify location (if new generator and ATS is required) • Power coordination-review drawings and site Survey for easements (if power upgrade is required) • Power coordination-track power company inspections (if site requires a power upgrade) • Construction Schedule-review and Monitor project schedule to ensure completion of project • Bid walk-attend scheduled Bid Walk with key stakeholders • Dailey progress updates-track Dailey report with Dailey progression photos, copy representatives • Bid walk-prepare bid walk notes and copy city of Bakersfield, communicate risk items to team • Bid walk-participate bid walk with general contractors • Design-communicate design issues to the MSI team to ensure issues are addressed timely • City of Bakersfield-verify approvals are in place including regulatory prior to starting construction • Site visits-construction manager to visit sites 4 times during the construction phase of the project • Quality control-quality issues, communicate to MSI during the construction phase • Dailey Site safety reports-request a copy of Dailey safety tail gate and site safety form review • Special inspections-track special inspections, reports for tower steel and foundation upgrades • Jurisdictional inspections-track Kern County or city of Bakersfield inspections • Ground ring installation-verify ground ring photos prior to trench back fill at each site • Site completion and punch walk-attend with MSI and general contractor, document with photos • Site completion and punch walk-track items to be corrected, return to site to field verify • Site acceptance site walk-attend with city of Bakersfield, MSI and general contractor • Site closeout-track redlines and closeout forms, MSI to provide completed closeout Project Manager and Construction Management Professional Services Services Cost Construction Manager - 1 Individual
