Per the terms of the contract, one amendment increasing the contract and/or extending the contract has been approved as follows:

 Amendment 1 approved July 24, 2024; extended term date by one year.

The Streets Division uses asphalt emulsions (tack oil) when paving and patching City streets. This bonding agent is sprayed on asphalt surfaces prior to application of new material to adhere the new asphalt to the original surface. Asphalt sealants are used for preventative maintenance to provide protection from the environment, such as ultraviolet rays and moisture intrusion.

If approved, Amendment No. 2 will extend the contract by one year, allowing the continued supply of asphaltic emulsions and sealant for the Streets Division. No additional funding is required.
