SUBJECT: Agreement with Creative Financial Staffing, LLC. (not to exceed $120,000) for Temporary Recruitment Services.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the agreement.
BACKGROUND:
On December 13, 2023, the City of Bakersfield (City) entered into an agreement with Creative Financial Staffing, LLC (CFS) to provide interim project staffing. The original agreement focused on delivering staffing support specifically for the Finance Departme nt. Due to current workload demands and the successful outcome of the initial placement, the Finance Department now seeks to engage CFS once again for interim project staffing. CFS’s thirty years’ experience and access to a network of qualified financial professionals continue to make them a valuable resource for addressing temporary staffing needs and supporting departmental operations during critical periods. CFS will perform ongoing recruitment services on an “as-needed” basis, as set forth in the scope of work.
Staff recommends the Council approve the proposed agreement with CFS in an amount not to exceed $120,000 over the term of the agreement, expiring June 30, 2026.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No additional budget requests are being requested for this agreement. Funding is within FY 25 -26 approved budget.
