BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Department’s Fleet Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of City vehicles and equipment. The City’s vehicles and equipment often need additional resources primarily for repair, maintenance, and outfitting of vehicle components and systems.
On September 13, 2023, the City entered into Agreement No. 2023 -223 with Advanced Distribution to provide maintenance, repair, and opacity testing services on various vehicles and equipment.
The City’s partnership with Advanced Distribution has been a success as the vendor is efficient in responding to and performing on -call services to City vehicles and equipment in a timely mann er and provides quality work.
At this time, staff recommends exercising the option to extend the contract for one additional year through September 13, 2026, in accordance with the original terms of Agreement No. 2023 -223. The amendment will provide for continued repair, maintenance, and opacity testing services on various City vehicles and equipment. Total compensation will remain the same.
