RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommend approval of the amendment.
BACKGROUND:
The Public Works Department’s Fleet Division is responsible for the maintenance and repair of City vehicles and equipment. The City’s vehicles and equipment often need additional resources primarily for repair, maintenance, and outfitting of vehicle components and systems.
On September 13, 2023, the City Council entered into Agreement No. 2023 -225 with Coastline for the repair of construction and off -road equipment . Coastline was selected through a formal Request for Proposal and Qualifications process.
The City’s partnership with Coastline has been a success as the vendor is efficient in responding to and performing on-call services to City vehicles and equipment in a timely manner and provides quality work.
Amendment No. 1 will extend the term one year to continue repair and maintenance of construction and off-road equipment. There will be no increase to the not-to-exceed compensation of this agreement.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Sufficient funds are within the Fiscal Year budget 2025 -26 and available in the Equipment Fund to cover costs associated with this amendment.
