Ardurra is pleased to provide this amendment to include the following design services:
• Evaluate the effectiveness of incorporating dual bag filter housing ahead of the GAC system for H2S removal
• Additional coordination with testing companies for Rapid Small Scale Column Testing (RSSCT) for determination of optimal media, treatment rate, & ability to treat both H2S & 123-TCP • Support the City with Division of Drinking Water (DDW) Permit Amendment
SCOPE OF WORK
Task 1.1 – Pre -Carbon Filter Design
• E
valuate and make recommendations for the inclusion or exclusion of dual bag filters. • Include findings and recommendations in the PDR
• No final design services are included
Task 1.2 – Coordination of RSSCT
• C
oordinate with testing labs to provide RSSCT results and analysis per DDW requirements • Use results to confirm to the DDW that chosen treatment methods/options work • Confirm treatment system parameters
• Testing one media only and no testing of filters is included The RSSCT test results and analysis are to be included in the Final PDR, and the recommendations are to be utilized in the design.
Task 1.3 – DDW Permitting Support
