2 My name is Olimpia Frederick, Purchasing Officer for the City of Bakersfield. We are currently in the market to purchase five (5) BMW police motorcycles and would like to streamline our procurement process by requesting authorization to piggyback on the existing contract between City of San Bernardino and Long Beach BMW Motorcycles. Per the Goods Purchase Agreement attached, request for piggyback must be made in writing to the City of San Bernardino.
Please see attached our formal request to piggyback on the existing contract for BMW police motorcycles. We respectfully request your approval to proceed with the purchase.
