AMENDMENT [1] TO
AGREEMENT NO. 2024-308
This AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO AGREEMENT NO. 2024-308 is made and entered into on _______________________, by and between the CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, a municipal corporation (referred to herein as “CITY”), and COMMUNITY ACTION PARTNERSHIP OF KERN (CAPK), a non-profit, public -benefit corporation authorized to do business in California (referred to herein as “SUBRECIPIENT”).
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, on November 20, 2024, CITY and SUBRECIPIENT entered into Agreement No. 2024 -308 to provide coordinated entry system services, with a Term to expire on November 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, the parties desire to amend Agreement No. 2024-308 to extend the Term to September 30, 2026, to allow SUBRECIPIENT to successfully expend the remaining HOME-ARP grant funding.
NOW, THEREFORE, incorporating the foregoing recitals herein, CITY and SUBRECIPIENT mutually agree as follows:
1. Section 3 of Agreement No. 2024-308 entitled “Term” is hereby amended to read as follows:
3. TERM. The Term of this Agreement shall begin December 1, 2024, and end September 30, 2026.
2. Except as amended herein, all provisions of Agreement No. 2024-308 shall remain in full force and effect.
IN WITHNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 2024-308 to be executed the day and year first above written.
