SUBJECT: Amendment No. 3 to Agreement No. 2022-276 with Ennis-Flint Inc (extend the term by one year and increase compensation by $30,000: revised not to exceed $670,546.25) to continue the supply of traffic paint.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of the amendment.
BACKGROUND:
On December 14, 2022, the City Council approved the annual contract for the supply of traffic paint to Ennis-Flint, Inc., in the amount of $210,546.25; re newable annually thereafter for four consecutive one - year periods.
Per the terms of the contract, one amendment increasing the contract and/or extending the contract has been approved as follows:
• Amendment 1 approved December 13, 2023; increase of $23 0,000 and extended term one year to December 13, 2024.
• Amendment 2 approved November 20,2024; increase of $200,000 and extended term one year to December 14, 2025.
This contract is primarily utilized by the General Services Division. The intent of this contract is to provide traffic paint for pavement marking.
Currently there is $145,000 available on this contract. If approved, Amendment No. 3 will extend the term by one year and increase compensation by $30,000 for a revised not to exceed amount of $670,546.25 to allow the City to meet the demand for traffic paint for the City’s pavement marking needs. Funds are budgeted in the General Fund for this contract.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Funds are budgeted in the Public Works Department Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget for this contract.
