RECOMMENDATION:

BACKGROUND:

Attached is the City's annual compliance report for Planned Sewer Area Fees for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2025, prepared in accordance with California Government Code §66006. A local ordinance may require the payment of fees for purposes of defraying the actual or estimated cost of constructing planned sanitary sewer facility expansions (GC §66484). Government Code Section §66006 requires that the local agency shall, within 180 days after the last day of each fiscal year, make available to the public specific information as outlined in this Code Section. The attached annual compliance report provides this information.

After the public review period, the annual compliance report will be brought to the City Council at the January 7, 2026 meeting for review and acceptance of the report. Pursuant to Government Code Section §66006, a local agency shall review the information made available to the public at the next regularly scheduled meeting but not less than 15 days after this information is made available to the public.

Therefore, no council action is required at today's meeting other than to make the information available to the public.
