RESOLUTION SETTING SALARIES AND RELATED
BENEFITS FOR OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE
GENERAL SUPERVISORY AND MANAGEMENT UNITS
WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Bakersfield authorizes City Council to provide for salaries and related benefits for officers and employees of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Council has determined what salaries and related benefits should be for officers and employees of the General Supervisory and Management Units of the City effective July 1, 2025; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 098-23 and its 1 8 amendments thereto set salaries and related benefits for employees of the General Supervisory and Management Units and this Resolution replaces all of those resolutions and amendments in their entiret y; and
WHEREAS, a definition and complete list of all positions within the General Supervisory and Management Units that this Resolution applies to is attached hereto as Exhibit A which also includes corresponding salaries as Appendix 1 to Exhibit A; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield that:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference.
2. The attached Exhibit A and its Appendix 1 are attached hereto and incorporated herein and approved as a part of the Resolution.
3. This Resolution shall commence upon adoption by the City Council.
