RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF A SURPLUS RIDING
MOWER TO BAKERSFIELD POLICE ACTIVITIES LEAGUE (BPAL),
A NON- PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR ONE DOLLAR ($1.00)
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses one (1) surplus riding mower which is no longer serviceable for the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, Bakersfield Police Activities League ( BPAL), a non-profit organization, desires to receive the surplus end-of-life riding mower at a cost of one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus equipment to a non-profit organization in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section 3.20.120(F).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell one (1) surplus end-of-life riding mower to Bakersfield Police Activit ies League for one dollar ($1.00).
