AN ORDINANCE AMENDING BAKERSFIELD MUNICIPAL
CODE SECTION 1.12.010 BY ADDING ANNEXATION NO. 715
TO WARD 1.
WHER
EAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFC o) adopted a resolution for Annexation No. 715 recently ordering the territories annexed to the City of Bakersfield; and
WHER
EAS, the territories ordered to be annexed to the City of Bakersfield are required to be within a City Council Ward Boundary; and WHER
EAS, the LAFCo recently completed the annexation for the territories to the City of Bakersfield, the exterior boundaries of Annexation No. 715 which is shown on the map in Exhibit B and described in the attached Exhi bit A, attached hereto and incorporated as though fully set forth herein.

W, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:

l of the foregoing recitals are hereby found to be true and correct.

ation No. 715 shall be included in Ward 1.

ions 1.12.010 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding thereto the legal description set forth in Exhibit A.

is ordinance shall be posted in accordance with the Bakersfield Municipal Code and shall become effective upon the annexation of the above- described territory to the City of Bakersfield, but not less than thirty (30) days from and after the date of its passage.

GEOGRAPHIC DESCRIPTION
All that certain property, situated in Sections 16 and 21, both in Township 30 South, Range 28 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, in the County of Kern, State of California, being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at the southwest corner of said Section 16; thence North 89° 48’ 44 “ East, along the south line of said Section 16, a distance of 30.00 feet to the intersection of the south line of said Section 16 and the easterly right of way line of Cottonwood Road and the POINT OF BEGINNING, said point also lying on the City of Bakersfield City Limits; thence along said City Limits courses 1) through 13) below 1) North 00° 05' 29" East, along said easterly right of way line, a distance of 790.08 feet to the southerly line of the parcel described in the grant deed recorded in Document Number 000215059034, Kern County Official Records; thence
