($350,000; revised not to exceed $500,000 and extend the term by one year) to provide industrial cleaning services for the Wastewater Division.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of amendment.
BACKGROUND:
The Wastewater Division requires industrial cleaning services beyond the expertise of City Staff. On May 28, 2025, the City e xecuted Amendment No. 1 to Agreement No. 2024-123, extending the term of the agreement by one year . Since execution of the agreement, the Division has completed a variety of industrial cleaning projects, including cleaning of the septage pit and grease tanks, removal of debris from the grit vortex tanks, cleaning of the biofilter pit, and cleaning of both truck scale pits at the dewatering facility.
Due to continued and increasing demand for these services, staff recommend exercising the one -year renewal option and increasing compensation by $ 350,000, for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $500,000.
