RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF SURPLUS TASER 7
DEVICES TO THE CITY OF CALIFORNIA CITY POLICE
DEPARTMENT, A GOVERNMENTAL ENTITY FOR ONE DOLLAR
($1.00)
R E C I T A L S
WHEREAS, the City of Bakersfield possesses twenty (20) surplus taser 7 devices which are no longer serviceable for the City of Bakersfield; and
WHEREAS, City of California City Police Department, a governmental entity, desires to receive the surplus taser 7 devices at a cost of one dollar ($1.00); and
WHEREAS, the City Council must confirm and approve the sale of any surplus equipment to a governmental entity in accordance with Bakersfield Municipal Code section 3.20.120(F).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows:
1. The above recitals are true and correct and are incorporated herein by reference.
2. The City Council authorizes the Finance Director to sell twenty (20) surplus taser 7 devices to the City of California City Police Department for one dollar ($1.00).
