RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of the amendment.

BACKGROUND:

On June 25, 2025, the City entered into Agreement No. 2025-098 with the Housing Authority of the County of Kern for Operating Reserves and Supportive Services of forty-eight (48) affordable housing rental housing units located at 3201 F Street Bakersfield CA 93301 (Elevate).

The funding for Agreement No. 2025-098 only identified federal HOME-ARP funds but should have included both federal HOME-ARP funds and state Homeless Housing Assistance and Prevention Round 5 (HHAP-5) funds as a portion of the compensation.
