BACKGROUND:
The City of Bakersfield Wastewater Division conducts preventative maintenance for its anaerobic digesters. This work is necessary to ensure efficient operation and to remove accumulated debris that may contribute to equipment damage, operational disruptions, or reduce performance.
The City Council approved Agreement No. 2024-102 with Wastewater Solids Management Inc. on April 24, 2024, for $150,000. Wastewater Solids Management Inc. was selected after responding to the City’s Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for digester cleaning services .
