SUBJECT: Amendment No. 46 to Resolution No. 44 -93 setting salaries and related benefits for the Temporary Unit.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends adoption of the Resolution.
BACKGROUND:
Human Resources oversees the administration of citywide classification specifications and approved salary schedules. The City utilizes temporary classifications to support interim increases in workload, special projects, or limited-term vacancies in full-time positions. The Police Department has requested the creation of new temporary classifications to assist with duties associated with animal control and communications, providing greater operational flexibility in these areas. The following temporary classifications and associated salaries support current operational goals:

Approval of the Resolution adds the salary for the positions to the approved and published Salary Schedule.
FISCAL IMPACT:
No additional budget requests, amounts are inclusive of FY 25-26 allocations.
