SUBJECT: Agreement with Motorola Solutions Inc.,
(not to exceed $100,000 for their Investigative LPR Applications for the Bakersfield Police Department
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this amendment.
BACKGROUND:
The Bakersfield City Police Department would like to enter into an agreement with Motorola Solution Inc. for a five-year term for their Investigative LPR Applications. The Investigative LPR applications will assist the Bakersfield Police Department camera systems in identifying capturing, reading, and recording vehicle license plate numbers in real -time using specialized cameras and optical character recognition (OCR) to improve public safety and provide officers with critical information.
A total, lump sum payment of One Hundred Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($100,100.00) made in five (5) annual installments after the Scope of Work is completed to CITY’s satisfaction per Exhibit A, such satisfaction not to be unreasonably withheld or delayed, which is attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein as follows:
