RE: Notice of Contract Termination – Agreement 2025-024 Dear City of Bakersfield:
Please accept this letter as formal notification that Psychiatric Wellness Center will be terminating our contract, effective July 13, 2026.
It has been a sincere privilege to provide these vital services over the duration of our contract. Our team has deeply enjoyed the work and remains incredibly proud of the impact we have made together.
Contributing to the well-being and stability of our community alongside the City of Bakersfield has been a rewarding experience, and we appreciate the trust you placed in us to support our most vulnerable neighbors.
Our primary priority during this transition is the well-being of our clients. We are fully invested in ensuring that the individuals we serve experience no disruption in their care. To facilitate a seamless "warm hand-off" to the incoming vendor, we are prepared to:
• Complete Comprehensive Transfer Summaries: Ensuring all client files are up-to-date and organized.
• Coordinate Transition Meetings: Meeting with the new vendor to discuss high-acuity cases and specific client needs.
